Senator

Senator Kris Jordan is currently serving his first term in the Ohio Senate, proudly representing the 19th District, which includes Delaware, Knox, Morrow, Richland, and part of Ashland Counties. Kris is a lifelong resident of Delaware County, and, at age 25, was elected to his first term as Delaware County Commissioner in 2002. He was subsequently re-elected to a second term in 2006, serving six years as a commissioner before being elected to serve as a State Representative in 2008, representing the 2nd House District. Kris distinguished himself early, being elected to House leadership as Assistant Minority Whip – the first freshman in Ohio House history to do so.

Senate supports continued operation of 179th Airlift Wing
Columbus- The Ohio Senate today unanimously approved a resolution urging Congress and U.S. Defense officials to reconsider a proposal that would end the C-27J aircraft program at the 179th Airlift Wing in Mansfield, eliminating more than 800 jobs. Senate Concurrent Resolution 29 was sponsored by Senators Larry Obhof (R- Montville Township) and Kris Jordan.

Jordan announces legislative fellowship in Columbus
Columbus - State Senator Kris Jordan recently announced that the Ohio Legislative Service Commission (LSC) is accepting applications for the 2013 Fellowship class. Those accepted to the program will receive full-time, paid fellowships that include the same health and retirement benefits that are given to state employees.
