Seitz encourages local college graduates to apply for legislative internship program
Columbus - State Senator Bill Seitz today announced that the Ohio Legislative Service Commission is currently accepting applications for its 13-month legislative internship program, which is designed to give college graduates an opportunity to get hands-on experience working in the Ohio Legislature and prepare them for careers in politics, government, law and many other related fields.

Seitz ushers election reform bill through Senate
Columbus - The Ohio Senate voted this afternoon to enact needed reforms to Ohio's elections system, approving Substitute Senate Bill 8, legislation sponsored by Senator Seitz. The bill seeks to address several provisions in state law that have created confusion and controversy for voters and local boards of election in recent years, including abolishing the current five-day window where voters can simultaneously register and cast a ballot, known as "Golden Week"; streamlining early voting procedures; and strengthening transparency of voter registration data in order to prevent fraud.
