A resident of Holmes County for 34 years, Senator Bob Gibbs brings to the office three decades of business and leadership experience. For many years he owned and operated a swine production farm and decided to “retire” from livestock production in 2004. Hidden Hollow Farms still produces corn and soybeans. Senator Gibbs also owns Gibbs Enterprises LLC, a rental property business.

| Columbus - State Senator Bob Gibbs announced that the General Assembly has given final approval to Senate Joint Resolution 6, placing a constitutional amendment on the ballot this November that seeks to promote the highest standards in Ohio-raised food and protect Ohio's number one industry. Gibbs co-sponsored the resolution with Senator Jason Wilson (D- Columbiana). Similar legislation was also introduced in the Ohio House of Representatives. | |
