Eric Kearney (D)

Senator Eric H. Kearney has been a member of the Ohio Senate since December of 2005. He represents the 9th Senate District encompassing portions of Cincinnati and neighboring communities. As a member of the General Assembly, Senator Kearney has championed the issues of small business development, child safety, adoption, and crime prevention. Senator Kearney is a Cincinnati native and a graduate of St. Xavier High School and the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Before joining the Ohio Senate, he founded and built one of the largest African American owned publishing companies.
