Senator Jim Hughes is serving his second term in the Ohio Senate, representing the 16th district, which encompasses a portion of Franklin County. He is currently the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Insurance & Financial Institutions.  Sen. Hughes is also a member of Criminal Justice Committee, Finance Committee, Rules Committee and he is Vice Chair of the Public Safety, Local Government and Veterans Affairs Committee.
