
Lou Gentile (D)
Senator
Lou Gentile (D-Steubenville) was appointed to serve Southeastern Ohio in the 30th Senate District in December 2011. The 30th Senate District includes Columbiana, Tuscarawas, Belmont, Harrison and Jefferson Counties. He previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives, where he represented the 95th House District. Prior to joining the General Assembly, Senator Gentile served as Assistant Director in Ohio’s Governor’s Office of Appalachia under former Governor Ted Strickland. Senator Gentile was raised in Steubenville and is a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School and West Virginia University.
