Senators meet in the Senate Chamber to debate and vote on legislation
Members of the Ohio Senate need your guidance to represent you effectively. Call or write your legislator to express
your support or opposition to legislation, submit an idea for a bill, or ask for help with personal matters involving
state agencies.
When sending letters or e-mails to senators, please address one issue at a time. Correspondence should be brief, but
contain specific information identifying your concern. If you are writing about a particular piece of legislation,
include the bill number whenever possible.
Contact your state senator directly or call the toll-free legislative hotline at
1-800-282-0253 (466-8842 in Columbus) to get information about pending legislation.
