05.13.13 - Seitz Gains Insight On Top Policy Issues At Legislative Summit

 

COLUMBUS — State Senator Bill Seitz recently joined hundreds of state legislators from across the nation to discuss the latest policy trends and research at the American Legislative Exchange Council’s (ALEC) Spring Task Force Summit in Oklahoma City. Seitz and other legislators had the opportunity to attend presentations on a variety of issues, such as college preparedness and energy.

COLUMBUS — State Senator Bill Seitz has been selected by Senate President Keith Faber (R- Celina) as Chairman of the Senate Public Utilities Committee for the 130th General Assembly. In this role, Senator Seitz will lead the examination and development of policies and initiatives pertaining to Ohio’s electric, phone and natural gas utilities.

COLUMBUS — During today’s opening ceremonies for the 130th General Assembly, Bill Seitz was sworn in for his final term as State Senator for the 8th Ohio Senate District, which encompasses portions of Hamilton County. Seitz was first appointed to the Ohio Senate in 2007, having previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives and as a Green Township Trustee.
