On April 22nd, Senator Capri S. Cafaro (D-Hubbard) recognized David-Brian Whisler from Howland High School during Senate Session for winning the Division II State Championship in the 170 pound weight class in March.

04.22.15 - Senator Cafaro Discusses "Ohio Prevention First Act" Legislation At Freedom Of Choice Rally

 

Today, Senator Capri Cafaro (D-Hubbard) joined women's advocacy groups across the state for the annual Freedome of Choice Rally on the steps of the Ohio Statehouse where they spoke out against anti-women's health legislation. Senator Cafaro discussed her legislation, the Ohio Prevention First Act, that focuses on sexual health and contraception education in Ohio.

 
 

04.09.15 - Senator Cafaro Introduces Legislation To Increase Penalties For Wrong Way Driving In Ohio

 

Columbus- This week, State Senators Capri S. Cafaro (D-Hubbard) and Jim Hughes (R-Columbus) introduced bipartisan legislation to increase penalties for driving a vehicle on the wrong side of an interstate highway.  Senate Bill 138 was introduced to address numerous accidents in Ohio caused by individuals driving on the wrong side of the road.
