Lou Gentile represents the 30th Senate District which includes Jefferson, Carroll, Harrison, Belmont, Noble, Monroe, Washington, Meigs and portions of Athens and Vinton Counties in Southeastern Ohio. Senator Gentile previously served in the Ohio House of Representatives, where he represented the 95th House District. Prior to joining the General Assembly, Senator Gentile served as Assistant Director in Ohio’s Governor’s Office of Appalachia under former Governor Ted Strickland. Senator Gentile was raised in Steubenville and is a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School and West Virginia University.

05.01.13 - Senator Gentile Presents Senate Resolution To Nelsonville Wrestler

 

Columbus – Senator Gentile (D-Steubenville) recognized Caitlyn Hall, a fourth grader who attends Nelsonville-York Elementary School in Athens County, for winning the 2013 U.S. Girls Wrestling Association State Championship.  Before that, Caitlyn placed second at the OHIOWAY Southeast Regional Wrestling Tournament and won her weight class at this year’s U.S. Girls’ Wrestling Association State Championship.
