A lifelong resident of Central Ohio, Senator Tim Schaffer has spent the last decade serving the public in the Ohio General Assembly. Senator Schaffer’s tenure in public office began when he was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 2000. After serving three terms as a State Representative for Ohio’s 5th House District, Senator Schaffer was elected to the Ohio Senate 31st district serving Perry, Licking, Fairfield, and parts of Hocking and Pickaway counties. After redistricting, the 31st district was composed of Coshocton, Licking, Tuscarawas and Perry Counties, as well as part of Holmes County.
