COLUMBUS — During today’s Senate session, State Senator Chris Widener recognized Austin Fooce, an eighth-grade student at Jonathan Alder Junior High, for winning the Junior High State Wrestling Title in the 176-pound weight class. Fooce went 45-0 during the season, and is the first state wrestling champion for the school.
COLUMBUS — During today’s Senate session, State Senator Chris Widener recognized Gennar Feucht, a senior at West Jefferson High School, for winning the Division III state title in the 132-pound weight class. Feucht – a four-time state qualifier who placed fourth in last year’s tournament – is the third state wrestling champion for West Jefferson.
COLUMBUS — During today’s Senate session, State Senator Chris Widener recognized Nick Corba, a senior at Beavercreek High School, for winning the Division I state title in the 170-pound weight class. Corba – the second state wrestling champion for Beavercreek – is also a three-time league champion and has more than 100 career varsity wins.
COLUMBUS– State Senator Chris Widener today hosted experts in the fields of Economic Development and Aerospace for the General Assembly’s second meeting of the aerospace caucus. Present were Joe Zeis for the Dayton Development Coalition; Wayne Struble from the office of Governor Kasich; Dennis Andersh of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), and Michael Heil the President & CEO of the Ohio Aerospace Institute.
