Coley Honors Retiring Miami University President
May 25, 2016
Senator Coley (second from right) presents a resolution to President David Hodge, of Miami University, joined by Senators Kevin Bacon (far right) and Bill Beagle (far left)

State Senator Bill Coley (R-Liberty Township) joined his colleagues today to honor the distinguished career of David Hodge, who will retire as president of Miami University on June 30, 2016.

"It's an honor to recognize President Hodge for the impact he has made on the students and faculty of Miami University throughout his decade of service to Miami University and southwest Ohio," said Coley.

As university president, Hodge led historic fundraising efforts and helped to transition the institution during a time of economic challenges and an increasingly competitive environment for higher education.
