Eklund to Present $750,000 to Chardon Schools for Comprehensive Support Program

State Senator John Eklund (R-Munson Township) will join Director Tracy Plouck of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services on Thursday to present a $750,000 check to Chardon Local School District officials.

The state funds will support a program that provides comprehensive mental health services for students and members of the community
 affected by the 2012 Chardon school tragedy. Services will be available for students even after they have completed their high school coursework. 

WHAT: Senator Eklund will join Director Tracy Plouck to present local officials with a check in the amount of $750,000 on behalf of the State of Ohio for mental health services for the Chardon Local Schools community.
