Hoagland Applauds the Jobs Climate 'Heating Up' in Southeast Ohio
December 17, 2018

COLUMBUS – State Senator Frank Hoagland (R-Mingo Junction) issued the following statement today in response to JSW Steel USA in Mingo Junction returning to service after being down for 3,545 days:

"This is an exciting day for the people and communities in southeast Ohio as the furnace at JSW Steel has returned to service. We have worked hard to reduce regulations and create career paths for the hardworking men and women of Ohio. I am thrilled to see things heating up, both literally and figuratively as our economy is booming and advancements seem to be occurring at the speed of light in our part of the state. As your State Senator, I am committed to creating public policies that attract business investments, spur job growth and prepare skilled workers to fill the in-demand jobs throughout Ohio, in doing so we will continue to protect our state’s manufacturing legacy and advantage. Congratulations to the team at JSW Steel USA and all of those who helped make this a reality."
