During the tour Hoagland met with several hospital administrators and was given an inside look into a day in the life of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN).

"I am grateful for the opportunity to see first-hand the critically important role these healthcare professionals have," said Senator Hoagland, "I am committed to working with the various stakeholders in the medical and nursing communities to identify ways the legislature can reduce cost and increase access to medical treatment in our rural areas.”
