Hottinger Honors Tuscarawas Sheriff Named Outstanding Peace Officer for 2018

COLUMBUS—State Senator Jay Hottinger (R-Newark) today honored Tuscarawas Sheriff Orvis Campbell for being named Outstanding Peace Officer for 2018 by the Ohio Prosecuting Attorney's Association.
 
"Sheriff Campbell displays great leadership and commitment to the people of Tuscarawas County," said Senator Hottinger. "He has dedicated his life to public service and to keeping our communities safe and I am honored to recognize him on the Senate floor today."
 
Campbell has worked for the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office for the past 25 years, serving as a deputy, detective and chief deputy, elected as sheriff in 2016.
