During the Opening Ceremonies, State Senator Kris Jordan (R–Ostrander) was sworn in for his second term in the Ohio Senate, representing the 19th District in the state legislature’s upper chamber. Senator Jordan won reelection to the seat in the November 4, 2014 General Election.

COLUMBUS– State Senator Kris Jordan (R–Ostrander) today introduced legislation to better protect the personal property rights and privacy of Ohioans in regards to smart electricity meters.
The legislation, Senate Bill 181, would require electricity distributors to obtain the consent of a customer prior to installing a smart meter on the customer’s property.
