LaRose Announces Hearing on the Future of Autonomous Cars in Ohio

COLUMBUS—State Senator Frank LaRose (R-Hudson) today announced the Senate Transportation, Commerce and Workforce Committee will be holding an informal hearing on the future of autonomous vehicles on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

In May, Governor Kasich signed an executive order aimed at expanding testing of self-driving cars on Ohio roadways. The purpose of this hearing is to highlight the work being done in Ohio, as well as what the future of the autonomous vehicle industry may look like for our state.
