Following a conversation with General Motors this morning, state Senator Sean J. O’Brien expressed optimism about the potential purchase of the GM Lordstown plant by Workhorse, a Cincinnati-based manufacturer of electric vehicles and other electric products.
“Today brought promising news from GM that a new company may be making a significant reinvestment in Lordstown,” said Senator O’Brien. “I remain ready and eager to get another product in the Lordstown plant and bring jobs back to our community.”
According to O’Brien, he and other Valley leaders will continue working with GM and JobsOhio to help secure this project.
