Senator O'Brien's Budget Requests Included In Capital Bill
March 1, 2018
Today, state Senator Sean J. O’Brien (D-Bazetta) commented on the proposed Capital Budget bill, which includes 13 out of the 21 projects in Senate District 32 for which requests were submitted.

“Being able to secure funding for nearly two-thirds of the projects for which my office submitted requests is fantastic and really speaks to the power of bipartisan collaboration,” said Senator O’Brien. “It is rare to get such a high percentage of project requests funded in the capital bill so I’m very happy for the constituents in my district.”

The proposed projects, which are set to receive more than $3 million, include workforce training, drug prevention and the renovation of sports facilities.
