General Motors, Workhorse and State Leaders Hold Meeting in Columbus to Discuss Lordstown

COLUMBUS—State Senator Michael Rulli (R-Salem) today sat down with Senate President Larry Obhof (R-Medina), representatives from General Motors, Workhorse and their newly formed company in Columbus, members of the Valley Delegation, Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber, JobsOhio and Governor DeWine's administration to proceed with discussions regarding the possible sale of the Lordstown manufacturing facility. Following the meeting, Senator Rulli released the following statement:


"I appreciate everyone taking the time during this busy budget season to meet with us to discuss a path forward for the Lordstown facility and how we can be helpful in returning manufacturing jobs to our region. There are hardworking and passionate individuals who are doing everything in their power to ensure families in the Valley have opportunities for good paying jobs.
