Senator
Senator Sue Morano represents the 13th Ohio Senate District encompassing Lorain, Huron and part of Seneca counties. She is the first woman to represent the 13th District and the only registered nurse currently serving in the General Assembly. Senator Morano graduated from Lorain County Community College with a nursing degree. She still works part time in the intensive care unit at the Community Health Partners Hospital in Lorain.

![]() Download High Resolution Image | Columbus – Last week Senator Sue Morano presented the first ever Senator Sue Morano Scholarship at the Ohio Nurses Foundation 9th Annual Nurses Choice Awards and Scholarship Luncheon. The $500 scholarship goes to a Registered Nurse who is returning to school for an advanced degree in order to teach Ohio’s next generation of nurses.
