Today, state Senator Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) released the following statement regarding Governor DeWine's announcement to freeze the use of the death penalty in Ohio until a new method can be developed and then deemed constitutional by the courts. 

State Sen. Nickie J. Antonio (D-Lakewood) announced today that she has introduced Senate Bill 11, the "Ohio Fairness Act," to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity in employment, housing or public accommodations. Senator Antonio was joined in co-sponsorship by her Democratic colleagues and state Senator Michael Rulli (R-Salem).
