COLUMBUS—State Senator Jay Hottinger (R-Newark) this week announced controlling board approval of $15.2 million to support Ohio’s Adult Day Care Facilities and Senior Centers with their reopening as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding was made available from the Federal Coronavirus Relief Fund under the CARES Act.
“The funding approved will allow Adult Day Care Facilities and Senior Centers to purchase necessary equipment such as PPE, thermometers and sanitation supplies,” said Hottinger. “These facilitates serve some of our most vulnerable so it’s imperative that we make sure they have the resources they need as they prepare to reopen.”
