"Designating May 17 in recognition of this deadly pediatric brain tumor is a meaningful step for Ohio's solidarity with the families confronting this disease," said Senator Kunze. 

COLUMBUS—State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Hilliard) today recognized the Thomas Worthington High School men's water polo team and women's field hockey team for winning their respective state championships this year.

"I am honored to celebrate both the Worthington Christian High School and Dublin Jerome High School men's golf teams for their well-deserved state titles," said Senator Kunze.

"This remarkable group of young athletes have combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship," said Senator Kunze. "With admirable dedication, the members have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in their sport and their academics." 

"It is important that we acknowledge and support the children in our military families who undergo so much change," said Senator Kunze. "We must do all we can to provide the support necessary for them thrive in school and adjust socially and emotionally."
