Lang Secures Over $4 Million for Key District Projects
June 1, 2022

COLUMBUS - State Senator George Lang (R-West Chester) today announced the rollout of the state's capital budget, a $3.5 billion investment in Ohio's infrastructure and local community projects.

The legislature generally approves a capital budget every two years, and the bill funds needed improvements to public services and facilities across the state. This year’s capital budget includes investments into Ohio’s schools, community centers, natural resources, and more.

Senator Lang (R-West Chester) secured more than $4 million in funding for multiple projects across the 4th Senate District.

“I am proud to have advocated for these critical funds for our community,” Lang said. “Thank you to our community leaders for working with the legislature and helping bring these dollars back to the 4th Senate District.”

Projects that have secured funding in the 4th District include:

  • Butler County Fairgrounds Grandstands ($750,000)

  • West Chester UC Health GME Family Medicine Center ($500,000)

  • National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting ($500,000)

  • Voice of America MetroPark Tylersville Road Entrance ($70,000)

  • College at ELM Innovation and Workforce Center at Miami ($500,000)

  • Early College Academy at Miami University ($75,000)

A full list of community projects will be available later this week.

The Capital Budget will go to the Governor's desk for signing once it is approved by the House and Senate this afternoon.
