State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) joined his Ohio Senate colleagues today to recognize Sarah Everhart for being crowned the 2015 Ohio Fairs Queen.
"As we prepare for Ohio's county fairs season, it's fitting that we take a moment to recognize Sarah Everhart who will travel across Ohio in the coming months representing our state's rich agricultural heritage at our many county fairs," said Peterson.
The former Ross County Fair Queen assumed her reign after competing in the annual competition held during the Ohio Fair Managers Association convention in January. Everhart was among seventy-five county fair queens who competed for the coveted crown.
The Pickaway County Fair, which is among Ohio's earliest fairs, begins June 22 and continues through June 27. For a full schedule of Ohio's county fairs, visit the Ohio Fair Managers Association website at www.OhioFairs.org.
