L-R: Senator Peterson, Riley Shaw and wrestling head coach Louis Reid during today's presentation.
State Senator Bob Peterson (R- Sabina) recognized Riley Shaw, a senior at Washington Court House High School, during today's Senate session for winning the 2012 Division II State Wrestling Championship. Peterson presented Shaw with a resolution honoring his achievement. "Riley Shaw has had a remarkable high school wrestling career, culminating in two state titles, but he is a tough competitor in the classroom as well," Peterson said. "On behalf of my colleagues in the Ohio Senate, we congratulate Riley on his achievements and wish him well as he continues his education and athletic endeavors." Shaw - who also won the 2011 state title and wrestles in the heavyweight division - was undefeated this season.
