COLUMBUS-On Tuesday, State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) joined Senate President Larry Obhof (R-Medina) and Governor Mike DeWine for the signing of House Bill 18, which will exempt veterans who receive disability severance pay from being taxed on that income.

COLUMBUS-The Senate passed Senate Concurrent Resolution 8, sponsored by Senators Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) and Bob Peterson (R-Washington Court House), urging Congress to enact the "Sunshine Protection Act of 2019," federal legislation that would permanently extend Daylight Saving Time across the country.

COLUMBUS-State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) today announced that the Ohio Legislative Service Commission is accepting applications through April 1, 2020 for its 13-month Legislative and Media Production Fellowship Program. The Commission will hire 24 fellows to serve in the Ohio General Assembly during 2021.

COLUMBUS-State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) today announced the release of nearly $1 million dollars in state funding to the Stow Armory in Summit county. The funding was approved by the state Controlling Board, a panel tasked with the oversight of state spending.

COLUMBUS-Every year, thousands of workers in the agricultural industry are exposed to life-threatening hazards associated with entering grain bins. While working to perform maintenance or to free a blockage, the materials beneath farmers' feet can shift in the blink of an eye and entrap them with quicksand-like suction, leaving them unable to free themselves without outside help. While these hazards are well-known within the industry, the risks are often underestimated until it's too late.
