"COVID-19 disproportionately impacted older adults and those reliant on adult care providers who were unable to access or receive services during the pandemic," Schaffer said. "I am proud to see the state put these relief funds to good use providing support for one of our most vulnerable populations."
The providers that will receive the funds include:

These funds are intended to assist with the safe re-opening and operation of meal programs, including costs associates with COVID-19 cleaning and sanitation supplies, personal protective equipment, emergency preparedness procedures and protocols, preparation supplies, technology solutions, and other expenses.
