Yuko Statement on Passing of Otto Beatty Jr.

Today, Ohio Senate Minority Leader Kenny Yuko (D-Richmond Heights) released the following statement on the passing of former state Representative Otto Beatty Jr., who served 18 years in the Ohio House:
“I was so saddened to learn about the passing of Otto Beatty Jr., who used his skills as an attorney and his position as a legislator, including as a member of the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus, to advance civil rights and the quality of life of the disadvantaged. He was always a gentleman, a friend to many and an inspiration to all. Pam and I are keeping U.S. Rep. Joyce Beatty and her family in our thoughts. Ohio has lost a true leader. He will be deeply missed.”
