Eklund to Introduce Victim Advocacy Legislation to Protect Privacy When Seeking Help
Press Conference to be Held in Columbus on Thursday, September 12 at Ohio Statehouse

COLUMBUS—State Senator John Eklund (R-Munson Township) will hold a press conference on Thursday, September 12 at 10 a.m. to re-introduce Senate Bill 41 of the 132nd General Assembly, which would establish better communication between advocates and survivors and will ensure that survivors feel protected and safe when seeking help from these services.


Concurrently, companion legislation will be introduced by Representatives Tavia Galonski and Dick Stein. Details for the press conference are:
