Today, state Senator Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) announced a new funding opportunity for faith-based organizations through the Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.
“The services faith-based organizations provide both in my district and across the state of Ohio form the backbone of countless communities,” Fedor said. “Here in Northwest Ohio, we are fortunate to have many exceptional faith-based organizations serving residents, and I encourage all that are eligible to apply for funding.”
The Governor’s Grant Awards fund initiative will support services provided to Ohioans for the state’s current fiscal year, which runs through June 30, 2022. Applicants can apply for grants from $25,000 up to $250,000. To be eligible, organizations must demonstrate how their services meet one or more Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) purposes, which may be viewed along with other frequently asked questions about TANF funding
