Hottinger Announces 400 New Jobs Coming to Licking County

COLUMBUS— State Senator Jay Hottinger (R-Newark) today announced that Carvana will bring 400 new jobs to Heath, Ohio in Licking County.
The Ohio Tax Credit Authority today approved a tax credit proposal from JobsOhio that will allow Carvana to create 400 new positions, generating more than $13,312,000 in additional annual payroll.
"We have seen incredible job growth in Ohio over the last few years and today’s announcement shows that we are still headed in the right direction," said Senator Hottinger. "We work hard to cut red tape and encourage new investment in order to improve the quality of life in our community.”
Carvana is an online used-car dealer that also provides direct financing for the cars it sells. Shoppers can browse the online inventory and complete the purchase from home.
