Hottinger Honored as Champion of Public Education

This week, State Senator Jay Hottinger (R-Newark) received the prestigious Champion of Public Education award from the Central Region of the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) in recognition of his support and advocacy of public education in Ohio.

 
“I’m honored to receive the Champion of Public Education award in its inaugural year,” said Hottinger. "I'm a proud product of public schools and happy to work with our schools to address their challenges as they strive to continually improve the quality of education they provide our students.”  
 
OSBA chose Senator Hottinger to receive the Champion of Public Education award for his leadership, commitment and contributions to public education that have made an impact on the OSBA Central Region and the entire state of Ohio.
 
Senator Hottinger represents the 31st Ohio Senate district, which encompasses all or part of Coshocton, Holmes, Licking, Perry and Tuscarawas counties.
