Hottinger Honors 2019 Special Olympics Gold Medalist

COLUMBUS— Senator Jay Hottinger (R-Newark) on Wednesday recognized Garrett Ford of Pataskala for winning four Gold Medals in Powerlifting at the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games.
"Garrett is an outstanding, hard-working young man," said Hottinger. "He has made his community extremely proud and it was an honor to celebrate his accomplishments before my Senate colleagues."
Ford competed at the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi in March, returning home with four gold medals in squat, deadlift, bench press and combined squat, bench press, and deadlift.
