Hottinger Honors Ohio's Longest, Actively Serving Deputy Sheriff

Sen. Hottinger presents a resolution to Deputy Sheriff, Royce Emerson during today's Senate session.
COLUMBUS—State Senator Jay Hottinger (R-Newark) today honored Coshocton County Auxiliary Deputy Sheriff, Royce Emerson on 58 years of loyal service. 


"I am honored to have this opportunity to help recognize such an extraordinary individual, such as Mr. Emerson," said Senator Hottinger. "He has dedicated his life to public service for many years and I am grateful for his commitment to the people of Coshocton County."

Emerson is currently the longest, actively serving deputy sheriff in Ohio.
