COLUMBUS—State Senator
Jay Hottinger (R-Newark) today praised Pharmavite, a vitamin and supplement manufacturing company, for their major expansion into New Albany. Pharmavite is investing $200 million into the area, building a new 200,000-250,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Licking County that will employ 225 full-time employees in its initial phase.
“Licking County and Central Ohio as a region continue to experience unprecedented economic growth. Pharmavite’s decision to invest here is another example of this progress, and it highlights the results of the smart, pro-business policies we have made as a state to encourage this boom in industry. I’m excited for this investment and what it means for my constituents and all Ohioans,” Hottinger said.
Production on Pharmavite’s new facility is expected to start by the end of 2024. To learn more about Pharmavite and its expansion, click
