COLUMBUS-State Senator Peggy Lehner (R-Kettering) announced today that House Bill 123 unanimously passed out of yesterday's Senate Education Committee. H.B. 123 aims to improve health and safety in our schools by utilizing anonymous reporting systems, training threat assessment teams, and providing age appropriate instruction on suicide and violence prevention for grades 6-12. H.B. 123 was amended yesterday to include a pilot program that would allocate additional funds to high performing Drop Out Prevention and Recovery (DOPR) e-schools.

COLUMBUS-State Senator Peggy Lehner (R-Kettering) today announced that the Ohio Legislative Service Commission is accepting applications through April 1, 2020 for its 13-month Legislative and Media Production Fellowship Program. The Commission will hire 24 fellows to serve in the Ohio General Assembly during 2021.

COLUMBUS-The Senate today passed the Abortion Pill Reversal Information Act, sponsored by State Senator Peggy Lehner (R-Kettering). The bill would require doctors prescribing abortion-inducing drugs to also provide written information informing the patient of the possibility of reversing the effects of an abortion in the event she changes her mind within the first two days.
