Maharath Comments on House Bill 6 Passage
July 17, 2019
Today, the Ohio Senate voted to pass energy legislation, House Bill 6. State Senator Tina Maharath (D-Columbus), who voted against the bill, issued the following statement in response:

“Although I greatly appreciate the process and hard work that has gone into making HB 6 a better bill, I believe that Ohioans deserve more and that the legislature has more work to do in committing Ohio to real clean energy policies and renewable energy job creation. I believe HB 6 sets Ohio back in the progress we have made over the previous decade. I will continue to fight for and support policies that will improve the quality of life for the next generation of Ohioans.”
