State Senator Larry Obhof (R-Medina) joined Main Street Medina and the Medina Area Chamber of Commerce to recognize The Gardener's Cottage for 15 years of business at their location in Medina's scenic downtown.
"Medina is a great place to start and grow a small business," said Obhof. "The town's proximity to important markets, growing tourism and proactive support of business expansion efforts contribute to this community's success and help to make Medina a great place to live, work and raise a family."
Officials from the city of Medina, the Medina Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Medina visited the company for a special ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the milestone.
The Gardener's Cottage, owned by Carmen Greenberg, was recognized for its 15th year selling home decor products at 226 South Court. The Gardener's Cottage sells a variety of gifts, home decor, accessories, fragrance products for home and personal use, greeting cards, and men's seasonal items.
