COLUMBUS— State Senator Larry Obhof recently introduced Senate Bill 390, which would authorize the transfer of 4.7 acres of land from the State of Ohio to the Mansfield Reformatory Preservation Society. The land will be used by the Society as part of their ongoing efforts to preserve the historic Mansfield Reformatory.

State Senator Larry Obhof today applauded the bipartisan passage of legislation designed to provide greater stability to Ohio's five public pension systems.  By law, Ohio's public pension systems are required to be able to meet their obligations within a 30-year timeframe.  The five bills approved today will help ensure that each of the state's pension systems is able to fulfill that requirement.

In response to today's announcement regarding the planned redevelopment of the former GM Stamping Plant in Ontario, State Senator Larry Obhof (R- Medina) issued the following statement:
