O'Brien: Coalition of Lordstown Advocates Excited to Make Electric-Truck Project a Reality
November 14, 2019
Today, state Sen. Sean J. O’Brien (D-Bazetta) joined Lordstown Motors Corp. CEO Steve Burns and Valley elected officials to discuss the electric-truck startup slated to take the place of the GM Lordstown plant. Following the press event, O’Brien issued the following statement:

“Lawmakers, the Chamber and local leaders have created a strong coalition of Lordstown supporters. We take pride in this plant and our community means so much to us. Together we’ve advocated far and wide to secure the economic future of Lordstown. I’m excited to say that we’re on the right path and moving toward a stronger, brighter future.

“We’ll continue to do all we can to make this project happen and ensure the production of Lordstown Motors’ electric trucks in our community.”
