Peterson Announces State Investment in Infrastructure to Support Job Creation
March 9, 2020

COLUMBUS—State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Washington Court House) today announced controlling board approval of $235,400 for road improvements in support of the Riffle Machine Works, Inc. project in Ross County.

"This investment will continue to bring growth to our community and help improve the quality of life for the employees at Riffle and the Ohioans who use these roads every day," said Peterson.

Roadwork will consist of relocating the main entrance to the north, adding a right turn lane from State Route 159, and widening the radius returns at the drives intersecting with State Route 159.

As a result of the project and state assistance provided, 25 full-time-equivalent jobs will be created and 273 existing jobs will be retained.
