COLUMBUS-State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Washington Court House) announced that earlier this week the Ohio Senate passed Senate Bill 362, which would reauthorize the Rural Business Growth Program and increase the total amount of nonrefundable tax credits available to insurance companies who invest in these funds.

COLUMBUS-State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Washington Court House)  announced that yesterday the Senate unanimously passed House Bill 7, the companion legislation to Senate Bill 2, a Peterson bill which was passed by the Senate earlier this General Assembly. The legislation will establish a statewide watershed planning and management program to coordinate and build upon the shared efforts of state and local partners to improve water quality throughout Ohio.

COLUMBUS-State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Washington Court House) and Senate President Larry Obhof (R-Medina) yesterday gave sponsor testimony in the Senate's Transportation, Commerce and Workforce Committee on their bill to provide relief to Ohio's restaurants and bars by repealing the Ohio Liquor Control Commission's Emergency Rule of July 31, 2020. The rule bans the sale of alcohol past 10 p.m. and the consumption of alcohol past 11 p.m.

COLUMBUS-State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Washington Court House) voted today in favor of releasing capital appropriations to Ohio University's Southern and Chillicothe campuses and to Southern State Community College for campus improvements and workforce training equipment. Senator Peterson serves on the State Controlling Board, which also approved funds for renovations at Deer Creek State Park in Pickaway County.
