COLUMBUS—State Senator Bob Hackett (R-London) today was presented the Dorothy Allison Lifetime Achievement Award by the Madison County Board of Developmental Disabilities. The award reads, "In recognition of your lifetime commitment, service, and dedication as an advocate and friend to individuals in Madison County with disabilities and their families." "It has a been an immense honor and privilege to work with the Madison County Board of Developmental Disabilities on policies that improve the lives of residents who benefit from their advocacy and services," said Hackett. "I look forward to continuing to work on our shared priorities for the betterment of the people in our community who need it most." The Madison County Board of Developmental Disabilities (MCBDD) is a county agency providing support to children and adults who have developmental disabilities. Services are provided to residents of Madison County, Ohio.
