Senator Roegner Announces Technology Investment In Portage County
COLUMBUS—State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) announces a technology investment made by the Ohio Department of Development in Portage County.
“The Technology House’s investment in Streetsboro is a major win for Portage County and for Ohio’s growing advanced manufacturing sector," said Senator Roegner. "By bringing additive manufacturing capabilities back onshore, this project will create quality jobs, strengthen our domestic supply chain, and position the 27th Senate District of Ohio as a leader in high-tech production and innovation.”
During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed and granted tax credits to five projects across Ohio, one of which is in the 27th Senate District. This project is:
- The Technology House, LTD, an additive manufacturing company, which expects to create 72 full-time-equivalent positions, generating $5,362,440 in new annual payroll as a result of the company’s project in the city of Streetsboro. The TCA approved a 1.446 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project.
