Senator Manning Honors Cross Country National Champion

COLUMBUS — State Senator Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) honored Baylynn Bendik on the floor of the Ohio Senate for winning the USA Track & Field Middle School Girls Cross Country National 4K Championship.

“Winning at the national level takes a tremendous amount of dedication and perseverence,” said Senator Manning. “Baylynn has shown herself to be an exceptional student-athlete at such a young age. I'm proud to recognize her before the Ohio Senate and look forward to seeing her have even more success in all of her future endeavors.”

In addition to winning the National 4K Championship, Baylynn was named Ohio Cross Country's fastest middle school girl with a top time of 11:26.06 while also going undefeated in all 10 of her races during the season.
