Senator Wilson Celebrates Volleyball State Champions

COLUMBUS —State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville) recognized the Mars Hill Academy Girls Volleyball Team in the Ohio Senate for winning the Ohio Christian Schools Athletics Association (OCSAA) State Championship.

"I'm proud to celebrate this incredible group of student-athletes," said Senator Wilson. "Their hard work and dedication has resulted in a remarkable accomplishment. I know that their school and community are proud of their amazing achievement and I look forward to seeing their continued success on and off the court." 

The Mars Hill Highlanders’ five-set victory over Wilmington Christian Academy marked their third straight OCSAA title and their eighth championship overall. Led by Head Coach Robie Lucas, the team achieved a 31 win season and went undefeated in their conference.
